The paradox of universal divinity and individual lives can be troublesome. No one person is equal to God, and no one phenomenon is equal to God. A human being is as much a force of nature as a raindrop, on its individual journey, its actions matter, they count and they are part of the big picture. Where as we have an awareness of being alive and a consciousness of our own presence in the universe, this is a personal relationship with the divine soul of all as in truth there is only one true awareness, only one true presence, that of the Divine unity of all and yet our experiences are given to us personally. No-one else has the same life as another, even if born into the same home and follows the same path. To appreciate our own divinity, to become connected and close to that truth that is sometimes referred to as God, we discover that our personality is put into the grave. Our petty needs and desires are so outshone by the inner ocean of greatness which we flow from. Like a ripple peak on a windy lake, as the wave curves over and we are confronted with our true source, our truth, temporary nature and acceptance of our work to only fall into the whole after time, eventually to itself become a part of the great stillness of eternity, our personal individual self becomes abolished. We see ourselves for what we are, an illusiory offshoot of the universe itself. And yet, without this peronal appearance, without our self, our unique vector in the multidimensional time and place that is now, our awareness of this divine could not be felt to such degree. Without our perception of it, we would find that we are it, and in this, our life becomes a gift, a way to learn to appreciate that we are beautiful and in our humbleness, our seemingly meaningless lives, it is only this interacton with divine that lasts, it is only this awareness of a great presence capable of crushing us in one small move, that gives us our most enlightening blessings, that enriches our lives and allows us to reach out to enrich the lives of others.
