Let's look at it closely. It may be easy to assume that if he has no money, then he's a deadbeat. Plenty of good loving fathers have little money. The reasons are wide and varied. The currency of parenthood is love. A deadbeat doesn't provide this. A deadbeat dad is not involved with their children, doesn't care about their progress or their growth. It's nothing to do with how much money he gives the mother, dads are not money cows .
Of course, if he is earning high, it's only right to share the wealth with the children, but if he earns it, it should be in his control how much and when. The laws are in place for the situations when a dad earns high and still refuses to pay a penny. The laws are there to protect women from greedy men who don't give a damn about their children.
Now though, there seems to be a culture in which the laws in place to protect from greed and absolution of responsibility are being used to judge good loving dads who simply don't have the resources to fund a better lifestyle for mum.
