The story begins with three pilgrims, strange and mysterious travelers, who find a glowing sword suspended in the air. Deciding it is a symbol from a higher awareness, they decide to follow its direction and find themselves entangled in an adventure that hinges the entire destiny of civilization on the planet. Some of the memorable characters you will meet are as follows. The Torein, three pilgrims with skin made of coloured light. They wear hooded cloaks to conceal their appearance, and often prefer to be separated from large communities. Their work is to discover imbalance and to allow the forces that be to establish harmony once more. Their journey takes them to greater and greater challenges which result in an ultimate sacrifice. Sangroth, a cowardly wizard, lives in a house in the woods that is hidden by deception magic. To see his home, you really have to look at it. He works at the local library and has a knack for turning up when he is needed. Bridget is a little girl who makes morning deliveries for a local baker. She brings bread to Sangroth as well as other members of the community. Her mother is Mrs' Alestorian, the governess of their local town. She is a sturdy and strong woman, although very traditional and strict. Harmonium Alesta is not just the name of the country the story takes place in, it is the name of the Capitol City and the name of the Princess who founded the entire land, but now is missing and the city has become a polluted and crumbling disaster.

Some of the memorable characters you will meet in this story are, Jesper, a Derigen, or forest being, small and nimble. He can climb incredibly well is quick witted and intelligent. Lady Alesta, a powerful figure, the female head of the house of Alesta, taking a desperate journey away from their homeland, for an unknown reason. Athame, a spiritually and magically empowered woman, who after handing over her baby begins to regret her decision and embarks on a journey of unawareness, following her heart to find her missing child. |
