A poem by Rowan Blair Colver
Learn your words,
How they taste and how they feel,
Listen to experience,
When you can see it is real,
Be honest in truth,
Deliver the message well,
And be kind with people,
when you need to,
Deliver any blows with charity,
The only way to give clarity,
That you care,
And care about all things,
Yourself as number one,
Make an effort to get better,
Face the things from which you run,
Always be presentable,
As well as you can be,
Keep a straight face,
Then comfort you will see,
And most of all in life,
Be a pleasure to have known,
Be a pleasure to spend time around,
Be a pleasure until you go.
