A poem by Rowan Blair Colver
A harvest, lunar dream of hidden agenda swings
It's burdened instrument, gravity within implication.
Yolk of mine eyes quavers as a cowardice now brings
Betrayal! Of the sanctified through magnification.
Yet some suggestion, as a quickened flung mantle
Material, maternal mimic yonder brings conquest.
This abacus, this graphic, ideas portrayed and subtle;
Not once, not again, but forever - never to rest
