A Children's Poem by Rowan Blair Colver
My friend Tina has ten mums
Where as I only have the one
She gets ten bedtime stories
ten times the fun
Tina ten mums get ten birthday cakes
Ten presents and ten chocolate milk shakes
Where as I only get the one
She has ten bedrooms with ten beds
Ten pet beds for ten cuddly pets
Three rabbits two dogs three cats and a horse
Tina ten mums has ten piggy banks
Filled with ten pennies a week
She saves them all up, of course
Ten fish in ten tanks
And ten games of hide and seek
But I'm happy with one mum
She is all I need
Think of ten hair brushes
Think of ten sloppy face wipes
Think of ten toilet flushes
When your trying to sleep at night
Think of ten nagging mums
Saying to tidy your room
I'm happy with just the one
And Tina really is too
