That would never hurt a soul,
Kind and forgiving,
Living in their holes,
I've seen the clever,
Well dressed and clean cut,
And noticed how they never,
Appreciate what they've got,
I've sat in classy bars,
And overheard abuse,
Seen the size of him,
And thought what's the use?,
I've lived in squalor,
Been left without too long,
I could blame the government,
But instead I wrote folk songs,
It wasn't my fault,
But my responsibility,
I had to work hard,
To increase my ability,
But the one thing I learned,
Above all other things,
Is appearances are deceptive,
And I'm stronger than I think.
