They love their children,
With hearts that beat also for warriors,
With minds fit for kings,
With hands able to craft space rockets,
Dads are people too,
Their feelings extend further,
Than the textbook tells them to,
A dad will defend his children,
With his last wisdom tooth,
He will lay down everything he has,
Just to see them get through,
Dads deserve recognition,
From community, self, and state.
They do a job without contract,
Constantly looking to get it right,
With expectations and true feelings,
Dads are never out of sight,
Doing their best,
Doing what they can,
Being there for their children,
Being a proper man.
