And as the days scatter,
Like raindrops on the window sill,
All the things that matter,
Seem like nothing,
When I love the children,
And the life that I've built,
I don't want to lose it,
Despite the wisdom of my guilt,
I wish I could stay here,
Although I still have my dreams,
And I wish for so much more,
To replace what I have now,
Feels a sin to abhor,
Don't take this away,
Let time be kind,
I weep for the day,
When I will leave it all behind.
